October has been a tough and interesting (to say the least) month. I think there was only one day in October where the change in the Dow was not in triple digits. We had to tighten our belt and make some difficult and painful decisions to help get us in better shape for 2009. It was a watershed month (at least according to me) for e-books and electronic publishing. And, I got to make my first trip to Germany for the Frankfurt Book Fair. The trip and the fair gave me a world of new insight into the important international dimension of the publishing business. Read all about it here. Following are the posts from October.
